Redwood High School Foundation Annual Campaign

Redwood High School Foundation (RHSF) was created in 2004 and is a nonprofit, tax exempt, 501(c)(3) organization. It combines the Support Fund, Benchwarmers, Scholarship, and Sequoians. The new organization was designed to simplify and streamline solicitations to parents, and to set up an umbrella fund raising effort capable of supporting additional programs and grant requests at Redwood.

Our Board is made up of parent volunteers representing all the organizations that receive funds from the Foundation as well as an executive committee that is responsible for fund-raising, bylaws, and financial accounting. Nancy Neu also sits on our board to provide an overview of the administration and district budgets. As we have grown to over $600,000 a year we have added a Development Specialist, fellow parent Veronica Tunucci, on a paid, part-time basis.

One of the strengths of RHSF is the process by which funds are allocated to the school. Each award panel is comprised of parents, teachers, administrators and/or students who identify unmet needs in the Redwood community and allocate funds accordingly.
