Redwood High School Foundation | What Is The Foundation?


	Redwood High School Foundation (RHSF) was created in 2004 as a nonprofit, tax exempt, 501(c)(3) organization. It combined the Support Fund, Benchwarmers, Scholarship, and Sequoians. The new organization was designed to simplify and streamline solicitations to families and the community, and to set up an umbrella fund raising effort capable of supporting additional programs and grant requests at Redwood. Our Board is made up of parent and community volunteers as well as an executive committee that is responsible for fund-raising, bylaws, and financial accounting. Principal Nancy Neu also sits on the board to provide an overview of the administration and district budgets. One of the strengths of RHSF is the process by which funds are allocated to the school. Each allocation panel is comprised of parents, teachers, administrators and/or students who identify unmet needs in the Redwood community and distribute funds accordingly.
