
Thanks to the generous donations from the families in 2009-2010, the Foundation allocated over $440,000 to Redwood’s Academics, Arts, Athletics, Scholarship, and Campus Improvements last year. By percentages, the money was allocated as follows:

Below is the list of grants your donations helped fund in 2009/10. There is a broad range of departments and types of activities - it is hard to imagine Redwood without our investment in these areas. Importantly, every request was reviewed, discussed, and approved by the appropriate team of parents, students, teachers and administration. Of the most noticeable areas of funding:
- 60 laptop computers on 2 rolling, computer lockers
- Finished renovation of second Open Access computer lab
- Chemistry and physics classroom supplies
- Thermography machine for Fine Arts classes
- Aver Vision Document Camera for Math classes
- Guest instructors and performers for Music and Drama Classes
- 19 computer monitors in library
- Archival storage cases for BARK newspapers
- Raku kiln for ceramics
- Overhead projection system for World languages classes
- Distinguished Alumni and Athletic Hall of Fame award display cases
- Speech and Debate team support
- Environmental Club support
- Instructional material for all academic departments
